UPDATE - Out of hospital

Hello all, hope you are as good as you can be. This is my 2nd day home from hospital who by the way they were wonderful in Addenbrookes, from the Surgeon down to doctors, nurses, catering & cleaners. I couldn't have been treated any better if I was Private. Iam doing a bit better, the operation went really well, should get results next week, another waiting period. I still have my rash and it is so itchy all over, my GP gave me a short course of steriods so hopefully that will settle. Normal pain levels part in my back has been high but I will just have to go with it . My tummy is uncomfortable but not painfull and is healing really well, the Surgeon done a fantastic job. My husband has been fab, Friends especially my bestie have been wonderful and she has cooked for the weeks so I don't have to worry about dinner. Hubby bought me a Nutrition bullet as a coming home pressie cos my old blender was on its last legs and before I went in I making us smoothies everyday so this will make life easier, some say not very romantic but he had sent me a lovely card with great words and I am more than happy with just that. Well I have bored you enough, will let u know when results are through. Have a good a weekend as you can. Soft hugs x

Oh that's good news. Let's hope the good recovery continues.

As for hubbies present. Personally I think that IS romantic because he has clearly put thought into it and chosen something he knows you will benefit from and make life easier for you. That's love in my book.
