I'm in my early 30's, which I consider young, my friends think they are old but I disagree.

I was diagnosed in my late teens. I recently wrote a post called Something to share, where I talk a little about my progression.

I'm not sure what you want to hear?

I am trying my hardest not to start taking anything other than vitamins minerals or anything else that my body can process naturally and it not negatively affect it. I don't want to get addicted or harm my liver. I just want to be healthy, I feel, well, hope that I can get myself to a livable place with a tolerable amount of pain by getting myself truly healthy. Maybe it's my irrationally optimistic view, but it keeps me sane. :)

I have just spent so much of my life in deep depression and want so bad to just be happy. When I was a kid that is all I would wish for, true happiness. I never thought it would be possible but as soon as I found it fibro ravaged my body. So I'm happy just in pain; which can suck the happiness out of life sometimes. But .... I love my life, I just wish I could enjoy it fully, not in pain and fatigued.

Not sure if that was what you wanted. :)

Hi fibrogirl3

I have pasted you a link below to our mother sites cache on ''Support Groups'' as you may find younger people there as well?

fmauk.org/contactsmenu/supp...

Can I also kindly point out that both FMA UK & HealthUnlocked have a policy of being over the age of 16 to hold an account on the forums. This is in place to safeguard younger people of online dangers. HealthUnlocked will automatically close the account of anyone under the age of 16 years.

I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
