Hi Jan101 i think a posted this a while back now, very true my friend, says it all really.

Luv Jan xx

it's very true, it does hurt pretty much everywhere like that- if you could see the pain it would look something like that. but what's the betting even if people could see it they'd still not believe you? i get a lot of that. people that i used to know now i guess, they see me and they still speak occasionally but they see me walking along with my walking stick and they will approach me and tell me i don't need to use it and to stop faking being in pain! my next door neighbours partner however said to her the other day that he saw me walking along and how pale and ill i looked- she said she was searching for nicer words but he said it looked like i was about to drop dead where i looked so pale- so at least i know that not all people disbelieve me.

i've put all of my old "friends" behind me now- i can't do anything they like doing and they don't seem to want to accommodate for my pain so i think it's time to break off those childhood friendships. i can't help that i'm ill. i can't help that they are ignorant to the fact.

i'm going to take the approach to accept me as i am with all my problems or leave me be.

Hi flower8819

It is so sad to hear that your friends don't understand what you are going through. But say to yourself they can't be true friends if they have treated you in that way. There is a lot of kind people out there and you can choose who you look like to be friend. They must except you the way you are or just leave them behind as you don't need them anyway. I wish you the best of Heath as possible. Take good care my friend. Jan xxx

Hi Dee-ivy06

Yes show it to them and anyone else that has doubts about you. One thing I know I have shown it to a few of my family and I now know it's in there mind when I am really bad. I think people always act differently when they have a idea what you are going through. So hopefully they will have a better idea what you have to live with. I wish you all the best of luck and hopefully more understanding from the people around you. Take care my good friend. Jan xxx

Hi Bennett1943

Yes it's very powerful and maybe it can help people to understand and in that they can be more compassionate. I hope that you are feeling as well as you can my friend. Jan xx
