Hot tub

Hi all,(new on here so not sure if this has been mentioned) but a friend recommended a hot tub to help with the relief of pain, I managed to find one that my friend was selling (inflatable one)... Oh my god best thing I ever bought! The bubbles were so relaxing and the best thing is that you can use it all year round!!

Oh wow! Lucky you! I agree wholeheartedly that a hot tub helps so much. I have just the model in mind that I would like, one with specific massage jets, it would just fit in the back garden. But that's where it ends. Without hiring a crane to lift it over the house I can't get it in the back garden.

I would love to hear how you get on with your hot tub over time. The inflatable one is an option I have in mind. I went to a holiday cottage that had a hot tub just to see if it made a difference, and it really did. I felt so much better, the stiffness had reduced, the pain had dropped....... But it was the relaxing factor that made the biggest difference.

Many happy bubbling hours 👍🐸

Must admit I used to use my friends , but it's been put into hibernation due to running cost but I was thinking of one of these inflatable ones enjoy

Definitely worth it and the inflatable ones are cheap to run, I haven't noticed a raise in bill and I have had it just over a year.. Have a think! 😊

I have strategically placed it in the garden so no one can see 😀, I started off with a bath and jets but for some reason it made me feel sick!

Mmmmmmm sounds like a plan i recon enjoy x

Hi Lisawt80

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I have pasted you a link to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:

A hot tub sounds like a wonderful idea? I am not sure I would be able to get on and out, not even with steps as I have terrible mobility. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Ah thanks Ken that's very kind of you.

Yes I admit it's not for everyone and I struggle getting in sometimes, but I think if it helps one person it's worth knowing about.

Sorry to hear about your terrible mobility, take care of yourself too.
