Facial swelling
Hi there
No, personally I don't get anything like this, but it I do think it would be a good idea for you to visit your GP and see what they say.
We can obviously compare symptoms here, but it's best for your GP to check you over to be on the safe side.
Wishing you all the very best

Hi Queencara78
I am so gneuinely sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue, and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution to this problem. I do not knwo if this is what is causing your but one of the most common conditions is called ''Angioedema'' and it mostly affects the eyes and lips on the face.
I have pasted you the link to the NHS Choices cache on this issue:

Hello Queencara78 from Nurse Gladys Emanuel (open all hours) since you,ve brought this to attention you,ve got me looking, I noticed when I cleansed toned and moisturisied (like you do) I have hugh black circles around my eyes and heavy marks where my specs sit on my nose, I thought it was lack of sleep. I see my g.p next week and so I will go into her without specs on and see if she comments..Let you know..
Yes I have fibromyalgia and I only noticed yesterday that my face was swollen on one side not happy about this. At all.
I am sitting at the estatition right now. I just finished a consult and I am told that the inflammation is from inside the nose, which she can't help. She suggested a dermatologist, but they recommended retin a. This made my skin more red and irritated. I do agree with the inflammation coming from fibromyalgia. I also have swollen face and lymph nodes in my neck that when swollen changes the shape of my neck/face. What sucks is that I had a nose job to make my nose smaller. Actually it helped quite a bit, but my surgeon keeps saying he can't get a good look at the work on my nose, because it is always swollen. It goes back and forth all day. That's been going on since my nose job a couple years ago now. In fact, he had to do a second surgery to try to minimize it again. I had my appointment with him a couple days ago and he said I should take a picture of my nose when it is small and send it to him. He reported to me that he recently has been taking care of someone, who is having the same issues. I'm going to ask him if she has FM. I don't know if he will give me that information, but probably. He is such a nice guy. However, having face swelling and people making fun has eroded my self esteem. I don't go out much anymore and haven't had a boyfriend for a couple years now. People can be cruel, without knowing that I don't feel well all the time.
