Hi all,

Yes I have a rash in an embarassing place, my bottom. It is awkward to scratch in public and I cant get rid of it. I have tried various creams and lotions.
I have never thought it could be connected to my fibro but it could be. It seems so much is connected to fibro it is horrible.
Queencara78 , I do have rash at times but gave been given prescription creams from gp to us as needef.Wishing you the best!! Peck.🐤
Sounds like Urticaria, allergic reaction to who knows what? If I were you, good idea to see your GP, possibly need antihistamines. I used to get swellings starting my eyes, lips, horrendous itchy lumps spread around my limbs. Mostly, this can be sorted out quite easily. Whenever you scratch, this will bring the histamine just under the skin up to the surface. It's hot and stings and impossible not to scratch and so round and round it goes. I feel for you, and very much hope you get relief asap.
I have many years of this condition behine me, very happy to answer queries on it, but of course you need GP to confirm. XX
Hi Queencara78
I have this a lot to be honest, and I am currently using a couple of different prescription creams at the moment. it is nothing to do with my Fibro but as tulips123 says as I have always had bouts of Urticaria. This time I have (M28).
I want to sincerely wish you a speedy recovery and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Mine started when I was 12/13, no let up until I was 17! Every now and again it rears it's ugly head and can take up to a year or more to get back under control. I take Fexofenadine daily which does seems to help keep recurrence at bay for longer, and then 1st sign of trouble add other anti histamines into the mix! I hate it. They have never been able to find out what causes it. There is no pattern at all. Another of life's little mysteries!
xx
That sounds awful my friend. Mine has been nowhere as bad as yours. Please take care of yourself x x
it doesn't happen anyway near as often as it did. all this stuff, physical health, def. all related, even if nobody knows how or why. From my point of view, I'm positive an immune disorder related to neurological disorder, or the other way round, it has to be connected. As you know, my mood dips and rises in the blink of an eye. So much medication to try to get a handle on so many different symptoms, sometimes makes things easier, sometimes def. not. Chaos reigns supreme! xx
Hi Queencara,
I get a rash on my upper arms. I am not sure if it's fibro related but who knows? Could be the meds. See your GP for something to soothe your skin. Sometimes these things just go away on their own but you need to be more comfortable in the meantime.
Take care xx
