Oh wow! Good question. It's been too long since I went through all that so any answers I would have, if I could remember, could well be out of date.

hopefully I rang the dwp about it they said they wasn't sure and they was doing paper work and will send me a letter and I rang my cab and left a message but they haven't rang back.

When I won my DLA Appeal, it took about 3 weeks for the DWP to receive the decision and action it, and to pay me the backdated benefit for the previous 15 months. I would imagine ESA will be a similar timescale, but it does no harm to telephone them and ask when you can expect to see everything sorted.
