i have same thing my dentist told me its called temporomandibular joint disorder or tmjd for short its another symptom due to fibromyalgia. I was referred to dental hospital to get a splint made, i get splint 23rd June.

its supposed to stop clenching your jaws but not sure if it will help the clicking. I am not aware of clenching my jaws but i do wake up with painful jaw so i must do it in my sleep. Mine is more a crunching noise like someone is crunching a packet of crisps in my ears, that and tinnitus constantly ringing in my ears, I'm lucky if I get any sleep at all for the noise.
