Update on no pain relief

Hi again, I was feeling so bad the night when I wrote my last post so I decided to go for a relaxing bath. I do not often have a bath as I find it very difficult getting in and out,I usually shower. I looked around the cupboards for some "smellies" and came across some Dead Sea Salt that I purchased a few months back so I decided to chuck a cupfull in the bath along with my bubble bath. I soaked for 20 mins or so and indeed felt relaxed. I was stll in pain when I retired to bed but upon waking after a reasonable nights sleep I had very little pain or stiffness. Last night was even better I slept like a log with no tossing or turning with pain and awoke this morning feeling absolutely great. I have been out for lunch and did a fair bit of walking without being exhausted and tired. I have been suffering for the last 6 months or so with no let up so this was amazing for me. When I Googled the Salts today I found that it claims to be beneficial for fibromyalgia and I would suggest reading it up for yourself. I will be having another bath this evening so will keep you up to date with my news

I wish I still had a bath but when we moved here it was either or and as like you I was having difficulty getting in and out and my hubby will only shower not bath i had to forgo it. if I was having a flair I would have a warm bath with handfuls of Epsom Salts or Dead Sea salts and a few drops of lavender, lie there listening to relaxing music by candlelight and then get straight into bed. It always took that terrible top edge off the pain when meds seemed to do nothing. So pleased that it has helped you and I hope it continues to do so. My acupuncturist who used to run marathons said that was the first thing she used to do when she got home to ease the pain and stiffness in her joints.x
