Any ideas?

Is it normal for a 16 year old boy to be sweating like extreme from only the head , could it be that I'm just out of shape but I sweat my head completely just working out for like 10 minutes or start heating up and start sortha sweating a little bit when I do small tasks. I heard a lot of people with hyperhidrosis but their not all like my symptoms , what do you readers recommend?

Hi Tobby

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted you a link to our mother site FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:

fmauk.org/

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue, and I was wondering if you have been diagnosed with Fibro? So many Fibro sufferers do have to endure hyperhidrosis as a symptom of their Fibromyalgia.

If the issue is becoming a problem, it may be beneficial to discuss it wit your doctor or medical specialist as there are treatments available. I have pasted you the link to the NHS Choices cache on this issue:

nhs.uk/conditions/hyperhidr...

I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Hello there

I'm so sorry to hear you are suffering in this manner.

Unfortunately it could be Fibro related, but it could also be that you just have excess sweating.

I honestly think that it would be a good idea for you to make an appointment and discuss it with your GP.

Both of my children sweat excessively but they don't have Fibro. My sons GP prescribes him a special deodorant which has changed my sons life. He would never take his sweatshirt off even on the hottest days, due to his sweating.

The deodorant has all but stopped his sweating.

I do hope that there is something your GP can do to help you. Please don't be embarrassed about going.

Good luck

Wishing you all the very best

Lu xx
