I seem to have it now in both ears but can mostly ignore it My hubby has it in one ear so sometimes the conversation in our house is quite funny when we are trying to understand if a noise we hear is just 'us' or is actually an outside noise

Had a look at some of the products that were mentioned might decide to go for the sound machine as at the moment play my MP3 player at night to take my mind off thw noise if it is particularly distracting but think nature sounds would be better. My friend who had severe tinnitus was fitted with a masking hearing aid on the NHS and that certainly helped her as did a anti depressant. as the continuous noise had made her feel very low.x

I've had tinnitus since I was a child, so I guess I've learned to live with it. It has got much worse in the last 2 years or so, maybe I should look at some therapies to relieve it.

I play 'relaxation music' to help me sleep or a hypnotist download on my phone, they help but it is always with me..... If it suddenly went away, I'd probably think I'd gone deaf!!
