I don't claim anything yet however I think you have nothing to lose by going for it, you will get some excellent advice here I'm sure xx
Everyone is different so PIP is not a 'one size fits all'. There are some wonderful people on here who can tell you a lot more about the process than I can.
If you are considering applying why don't you have a look online at the form to see if you would be entitled. Sadly it isn't awarded for the pain we go through but rather the help we need every day to manage a basic existence.
Don't be put off by stories you may have heard 🐸
You wont know if you dont try. I went for it thinking that i may get the lower rate for care and nothing for mobility.
Imagine my surprise when i got nothing for care but higher rate mobility.
Like i said if you dont try you wont know.
Worth trying for as the extra money would certainly make life easier for you. The only thing you have to lose is some time. Do get expert help if you can from as someone like CAB or a disability charity as the forms can be a little daunting if you are a novice. Good luck whatever you decide.x
