Everyone is different so PIP is not a 'one size fits all'. There are some wonderful people on here who can tell you a lot more about the process than I can.

If you are considering applying why don't you have a look online at the form to see if you would be entitled. Sadly it isn't awarded for the pain we go through but rather the help we need every day to manage a basic existence.

Don't be put off by stories you may have heard 🐸

You wont know if you dont try. I went for it thinking that i may get the lower rate for care and nothing for mobility.

Imagine my surprise when i got nothing for care but higher rate mobility.

Like i said if you dont try you wont know.

Worth trying for as the extra money would certainly make life easier for you. The only thing you have to lose is some time. Do get expert help if you can from as someone like CAB or a disability charity as the forms can be a little daunting if you are a novice. Good luck whatever you decide.x

Hi there

I know how you feel. I've had Fibro and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for over thirty years.

If you have a look on the right hand side of your screen you will see "Pinned Posts". Underneath that there is a post that Ken (The Author) has created especially for people looking for help with benefits.

If you'd like to read the post simply place your cursor over the post and press return and you will be able to read it.

I have also pasted the link here for you:
