Can't take no more pain suffer with bad headache s also my back,neck,hands,arms,feet.now my left hip is giving way and the pain is really bad does anyone suffer this I feel the pain is never ending this cold weather is not helping set set set

Hi there,

I'm so sorry to hear that you are having a particularly rough time with this change in the weather - I think many of us are finding it a bit of a struggle. Like you I have migraines and problems with my back and neck and I am certain it has been exacerbated by the weather.

You sound very "down" at the moment and I wonder if it might be a good idea for you to get checked over by your GP. He/she might be able to find something to help you.......as the saying goes, "nothing ventured, nothing gained"

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering and struggling so much at this time, and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck. I agree with Foggy as discussing this with your GP could be beneficial as they may give you some different medication. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

Dear Alison,

So sorry you are having such a rough time, I can relate I suffer from chronic daily headaches and migraines I was referred to a neurologist about 18 months ago as they thought my headaches were also related to the pain in my neck.

Cut a long story short had MRI found out I had stenosis in my neck which was causing all the pain. And the neurologist prescribed a drug called Topiramate for the headaches. I must admit I only have maximum of 2 migranes a month. I was also asked to have my eyes tested, I found to be light sensitive so all in all for my neck upward at least, the trip to the gp was worthwhile one.

The weather.....Ouch! Yes the cold, it hurts like hell if you don't wrap up warm, you have to think about your bones not the new fashion,

Layer up and keep your head and neck warm when we suffer as we do, get to hot take a layer off......

My hips too they give me grief X-rays show no abnormalities just the Fibro raking havoc on your joints. Well unfortunately the best thing for that is walk the pain off, hot bath then relax or have a snooze which ever suits you.

Thank you all for your kind words I will see the doctor tommorow I do have spodiltis in my neck and back so that doesn't help sorry for feeling so down but I try to tell myself tommorw another day hopefully better than the day before just fed up with it all
