Hello to everyone,i have just joined the site.Ihave terrible fatigue and horrible Fibromyalgia, and Polymyalgia. Walking is like wading through water and my legs ache and swell, also Restless legs syndrome..I can only walk short distances so my son drops me off where ever i need to go and then picks me up. I can sleep 12 hour nights. I really need friends Best wishes to all Maureen

Hello Maureen and welcome to what I consider to be the friendliest and most helpful forum there is 😊😊😊😊

Could I firstly point you in the direction of our mother site fmauk.org where you will find a lot of very useful information about fibro!

I am interested to hear that you have both fibro and polymyalgia, I've not heard of anyone having both, but I'm not questioning what you say in any way. I hope that your GP has got you onto steroids which should most certainly help with polymyalgia, in fact it can cure it completely. Fibro on the other hand is as you probably already know, an ongoing condition, and as I have said about the mother site, you will be able to find out if there are support groups in your area that you could join.

I'm sure plenty of other members will come along and join me in welcoming you and certainly there are people who also suffer with RLS, I am very lucky that it only occurs very occasionally for me,but I know it is a constant source of nightmare for some.

As I said earlier we are a very friendly bunch and a fair few of us find that having some more fun posts makes us laugh and laughing in turn releases feel good endorphins, so do feel free to join in with any post you want to and also your knowledge will be of help to others too.

I much look forward to getting to know you better around the forum and send lots of positive soothing vibes your way 😊😊

Hi again Maureen,

Could I suggest that if you post again or even if you feel like editing this post, that you lock it as it means that only members of this forum can actually see what you write. It is something we advise all members to do.

The button for locking it is at the bottom of the write a post page and there are two buttons, one saying "everyone" which for some reason is the default setting much to many of the membership!s consternation -

You then need to click on the "community" button and you will see that a padlock appears alongside the title when you post . This is a really useful thing to do as it protects you anonymity and also the replies which many of us don't necessarily want to be seen by people who are not members of the forum!

I hope this is useful to you and your online security 👍🏻😃😃😃

Hi Regno,

Methinks the words "Foggy" and "awesome" really can't be applied in the same sentence 😳😳😳😳😳 😘😘
