Hi claralove

Is this the 30 day diet? Not quite sure if it is the one that I am thinking of but you go without gluten and eat simple meals for 30 days? I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck with your diet.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

I googled it. Who ever heard of a diet that says add more fat?! It sounds very interesting. I'd have to be highly motivated to get started, but it seems that once you get the kitchen set up with the proper ingredients, it wouldn't be too hard and worth a try.

I hope it helps you. I'd love to hear a progress report.

That was what I said when my GI doc recommended the FODMAP diet. I did try it and gave it up. Didn't make any difference except cut me off from some favorite foods!

I'm a bit sceptical.. As it's a cure all kind of diet..which I don't believe in.. But I'm hoping they know what they're talking about...and all the foods all quite healthy.. It's the way it's set out its going to hard to follow.. X but it's worth a wee try..lol

Just looked it up and sounds very similar to one I tried about eight years ago. It was very helpful but restrictive and hard to do. My specialist retired and my greatest regret in my health decisions is believing the new specialist who said it was pointless. I am currently trying to do it again.

Thanks for the words of encouragement

Hi I did the whole30 diet last year which is v difficult but did help. It sounds similar to gaps and Stone Age diet. A kind of elimination diet. I now follow Stone Age diet which isn't too bad once you get used to it. No dairy, gluten, grains - basically meat, veg, fruit nuts and berries with supplements. Our upper gut gets used to cope with refined sugars and carbs I believe can then cause issues with leakage. Lower intensities are meant to be the ones we as humans use apparently and they deal with meat and veg. Farmed produce been interfered with over the years so much with pesticides. I use my local butcher for meat which is more expensive but grass fed beef tastes so much better in my opinion. Good luck with the diet. Early days for me and not quite transferred over fully as many things include sugar or gluten and still feeding a family so just getting my head round it all. Let us know how you get on. Good on your doctor for trying to think of something other than pills!! Jax 😉😀

Read a bit more and stone age looks easier, or I do not like bone soup.
