Endo on front page of Guardian today

Hi everyone,

Great to see endometriosis on the front page of the Guardian today. There is also an article that mentions the women with endo are twice as likely to have fibromyalgia. I can't post the link for some reason, if someone else could I think it would be useful to some,

Thanks.

Very interesting article sorry I can't help with doing a link as my knowledge does not go that far but when I spoke into my tablet and said Guardian article on endometrious it went straight to the article. I always had very heavy painful periods which I had to have a hysterectomy for and they say there is a link there as well. Tks for posting it as I think it will give many good info.x

I was fitted a coil to stop my periods ,the pain was that bad , they said I had endometriosis after I had abbi would only have a few days a month free from symptoms ,but GP put me on meds and it settled down , have to say once I moved home to Wales my health care became so much better with my care , in Bedfordshire they fob you off with I think it is ,now extra test to double check anything ,is the norm ,I am very with my Heath care .

Yes I used to be the same of course when I was in my early 30's they didn't have the drugs and treatments they do now had to have ovaries removed as they were coveted in cysts. I was never the same after they stopped hormone treatment after all those scares. Downhill pain wise all the way after that.x

I always suffered with painful periods had a D & C when I was sixteen, didn't work then they said when I got married I would be better, then it was when I had a baby i had two babies didn't work in so much pain so I had a hysterectomy two months after my 30th birthday , which worked . Best wishes

I'm glad its been useful for some people, I certainly wish this information had been available 5 years ago. There are quite a few articles on the site today about endo x
