I suffer with very bad nausea which my doctor thinks is a side effect of the tramadol I am taking.

I get nausea and promptly vomit when I do! My thoughts are off the old adage better out than in. It happens only three or four times a year and I think it's a reaction to my meds or perhaps overeating a rich meal as I normally graze.

It must be difficult for you being nauseous and not being sick as I feel fine afterwards.

My sympathies

Patrick

I have had days where i feel sick and dizzy, for years pre fibro diagnosis I used to put it down to a migraine as i have the flickering lights and aura. A neurologist told me that it is called migraine without headache.

So i still dont really know if it is fibro or migraine but as silly as it sound eating helps to ease it, when i stop it comes back. When i was at work i would stock up on nuts and small sweets to keep me going.

A very good reason to make a pig of yourself.

I hope that you find something that helps.

Yes I often have the same do not know whether it is the fibro, IBS or the constant rhinitis which I have just wish it would go away and never return as I am better with pain than feeling sick. It is like a borderline sicky feeling and a bit like Foggy often eating something does seem to make it feel better for a while but then it comes back. I don't get it very day but quite often.x

i hope by saying this i don't offend or upset anybody but are you pregnant i'm no doctor but that is the first sign in women when there expecting if i'm wrong then please except my deepest apologies kind regards bigalan

I take Metoclopramide for nausea. A Consultant said people who take lots of meds can have this problem, but I've always had problems pre-meds. Metoclopromide does help as long as you can get them down and keep them there lol :) Tulip xx

I sometimes feel like I am going to be sick with some of the neural pain.

I never have been sick with it but thats the way it feels.

high levels of pain especially involving the spine often causes nausea. i don't know why doctors do not except this. possibly because it is only the patients reporting it and of cause many patients do not make the link between their pain and the symptom of nausea. unfortunately nausea effects me far to often on the bright side it makes it difficult to put on too much extra weight due to lack of appetite. its one of the symptoms i have not bothered my gp with because when i mentioned it to a therapist at the pain clinic she was very dismissive probably because of the c s f diagnosis in my medical records.

I used to have nausea with migraine and vomited. That rarely happens now( I still get migraines- but rarely have nausea). Now I appear to have developed(or maybe had but it was in check) lactose intolerance. I get the runs and feel nauseated but I do not vomit. I need to keep a new kind of food diary to see if this is the cause.

Hi aura2

I am so genuinely sorry to read that and I sincerely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for. I take Metocloepramide just like Tulips for my nausea and it works well for me. I have quite a fe allergies that affect my breathing and give me migraines and it is the migraines that cause me to get nausea's or vomit. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Thank you for reply, I am on medicines for acid reflux but am wondering if it is my thyroid as my sister had the same and she is now on treatment for thyroidism and is fine
