Hi all I have had fibro for over 5 years now I'm so used to the constant flare ups pain and more pain but recently I been diagnosed with Copd and now I'm having troubles with my eyes I'm getting pressure and sencertiverty to light now the thing is I think this is all connected to my fibro but the Drs think not I'm now under the eye hospital but all they keep saying is they have to do more test and this is nothing to do with my fibro but the thing that puzzles me is now when I'm having a flare up I still get it around my body but more so in my chest I thought I was having a heart attack it was so bad I get those a lot but not that bad and my breathing was so bad now my eyes I allso have problems with my skin I get rashes and numbness in certain places I just wonder if anyone else has it like this because I'm certain it's all connected.i allso have problems swallowing so at the moment I'm not taking all my meds

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you have been diagnosed with COPD, and as a fellow sufferer I can relate completely to your chest pain. I have endured COPD for around 15 years and it can create such horrid pain in the chest / diaphragm area. I am taking 10mg of Prednisolone daily along with my inhalers and nebuliser.

I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck with finding the answers that you are looking for.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Thank you ken but do you find that some times that the fibro flare up can aim at certain parts of the body I mean I still get the pain all over but then it gets so bad ie my back then my chest now eyes and no energy always having to stay in if you been out the day before its mad the drs are saying only my energy could be to do with the fibro it's so crazy

Oh yes, most definitely. It feels like it is specifically aimed at one certain body area and lasts for ages. My Asthma / COPD Specialist who I see on a regular basis always tells me it is very draining and can make me feel very tired.
