Anybody else prescribed trazodone?!

I started taking it about a fortnight after dropping mertazipan. The good news is that Ive lost half a stone as it acts like an appetite supressant. I have put on so much weight since I started taking mertazipan. One minute craving sweet carbs and then barely eating at all. Its a shame that it isnt as effective as mertazipan and makes me feel like Ive got flu all the time!

I take trazadone at night, been on it three years now. I'm also on pregabalin, my weight has ballooned.

Sorry to have caused confusion. I was offered trazodone as an alternative by my GP as i was gaining so much weight from taking mertazipan. Silly i know but it never fails to amaze me we all react so differently to drugs. Im loving the weight loss but fed up that it doesnt appear to be doing much me for regarding the fibro. Mind you there is a limit to what they can do for me as i always suffer badly from the side effects meaning they cant raise the dose.
