I have a friend who is a psychologist and she uses and recommends mindfulness. I am not that good at relaxation, but it is something I would love to learn. I like Lou will try and look out for that app. Thank you for bringing it to our attention 😃
Like you I believe that learning to relax our bodies and minds can help break the pain/tension/anxious/more pain destructive circle....and it's something that once we've learnt to do for ourselves costs no money only our own time and effort. .....surely that's got that to be worth trying!
I love to meditate! I find it clears my head and puts things in perspective! Although sometimes I have a 6 & 7 year old that like to come in and ask questions! That makes it a little hard. So I find that waiting till bedtime is better for me!
I must admitt I have recently started a regular meditation half hour and the effects are good. Calming brain functioning problem solving re instituted.
I undertook a mindfulness course during and MS awareness week and I really enjoyed it. Took a while to get into it but it was enjoyable. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of lcuk with this.
I find medition really good. I do it it when I just get into bed and unless I have a lot of things on my mind fall to sleep shortly after. Will have a look for the headspace app.
