I have been receiving income support since my daughter was born 3 years ago but a few days ago I received a text from DWP that said they have reviewed my income support claim
I haven't received any letters or anything about this yet though, not sure what's going on with it
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks xxxx

I am so sorry to read of the stress and worry that this has caused you and I genuinely and sincerely hope that it is nothing to worry about. If you do not receive any confirmations about what this means in the next few days I would ring them and ask them to explain it to you.
Hi bluebell, yeah I thought it was odd as well, especially since it has came just after my pip assessment so I am thinking it may have something to do with that
However I will ring them if I haven't had a letter in the next few days xx
Hi Imh, I'm slightly concerned when you say you've received a text from the DWP because unless they've suddenly been blasted fast forward into the 21st century (which I somehow doubt) all my dealings with them have been on paper.
Please forgive my scepticism but from what you have said they wrote in the text it really doesn't ring true with my experience with the DWP and I agree with the others and you when you say you will ring and ask for some concrete confirmation on paper.
I may well be totally wrong and in fact really hope I am, and I will hold my hands out ready to be smacked if I have caused you more concern by saying what I have.
Sending lots and lots of positive vibes your way, and please do let us know how you get on ππ
Hi foggy, if you put down your mobile number on your forms the DWP can text you, I had a text from them a few weeks ago regarding my PIP assessment, my mum and uncle have also received texts from them recently as well π I think its a new thing they have just started recently.
I will keep you all updated though if I receive any letters or anything from them
