PIP

Happy saturday everyone. I have my Pip assessment on monday morning. Im a bit nervous cos I dont think I can get anyone to come with me. At this moment I am in extreme pain that its making me feel sick. I have run out of codeine cos I forgot to pick up my script. In some ways I hope the pain lasts till after the assessment but I dont know if I can deal with it. Take care people. julie

I am so sorry to read that you are in so much pain, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue.

Good luck for tomorrow. I must admit I had a panic a few weeks ago when I ran out of my pain pills. I always try to avoid taking my pain pills before I need to see anyone who is going to assess my condition. I figure that they really need to see things 'in the raw' so to speak. Then I have my pills and water in my bag to take as soon as I get outside. It's not easy if you're in agony though and there's no point in putting yourself through hell to prove a point. I hope all goes well

I hope so. It's a pity you didn't have enough meds to get you through today. Do you have anything 'ordinary' in the house that you can have for today, just to take the edge off...paracetamol or aspirin or something? Best wishes x

I have become more and more depressed wondering what is wrong with me. The help from the medical profession has been miniscule.

I do not understand this fibromyalgia at all.

I have a vit D deficiency disorder and feel that this triggered something off.
