Hello I am new here and thought I would share a few things. I was born with broken hips which damaged my spin. At 7 had rheumatic fever. Went through a lot of studies to find out that I had fibromyalgia long before it had a name. Now with 50 days away I had to admit to myself that I need a chair or scooter to get around. Been through a lot in my lifetime. Fighting Fibro all the way. Pain has always been there. I am allergic to so much that doctors are at loss of how to help. I understand pain and just living your daily life. If anyone has questions or comments feel free to reply. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Hi and welcome :)

You sound like you have been through the mill and back again. On the forum there is a lot of distraction therapy and humour to beat back the blues from living with pain as a companion. Hope to see you around :)

Hello, welcome to the forum. I'm quite new and still struggling to come to terms with what having fibro means for me. I also have osteoarthritus throughout my body and plantar fasciitus. I fell down the stairs when I was 16, and damaged my spine.

Im sorry you have been in pain from such a young age.

Take care, everyone on here seems really friendly and understanding.

I talked about pain in the other post, but allergies I would look at the gut, again triggers. But importantly the adrenal glands which need vitamin C (yes we are back to that one) and Calcium Pantothenate (vit B5) to restore (among others). Getting away from the stress response and the hormones that go with it will be key to reducing inflammation (governed by cortisol!).

Best wishes
