After a frustrating 10 day wait while my sprained ankle recovered (injury due an ill-advised game of tag with the grandsons) I started the programme again today and when Laura said 'you're finished' did another three 90 second runs just because I could This was 8 am on the inner estuary Napier. In another two hours it will be too hot to even consider running. Sorry all you snow-bound Poms. Am seriously considering applying for residency here

I used to run miles every day, now when I go to the gym I'm on the treadmill doing half a mile at a snails pace, any one can dream eh xx

Can I join the running club if it means moving somewhere like Australia or NZ, won't be doing much running but a lot of enthusiastic encouragement and enjoying the weather **totters off to pack bags of Lycra and a sun hat**

Of course you can Foggy. The Turnturtle running club needs all the cheerleaders it can get to combat the dire predictions of the 'running is bad for your joints' Kiwi father-in-law.
