Hello, I have been on Duloxtene for few years now , it has been brilliant for any anxiety /depression caused by this horrid condition,I take one tablet before bed and I am lucky enough not too have any major side effects, alittle headache in the mornings but that does wear off once I’m moving about. Yesterday I managed too walk too the bank I was in a T-shirt and most people had coats on 🤣differently my temperature gage is all over the show, I do read here from members it can be a symptom of Fibro. You could see how you get on with medication , I found roughly 2 weeks before it started too work for me personally , good luck and take care xx
Hi... Wish I knew the answer to the sweating / cold myself... it drives me mad. As far as restless legs are concerned... I think it's helped by potassium?... easiest way is try eating banana before bed..... a lot of people find it does help. Can't really help re: antidepressants or meds... as I don't take them... mainly because they make me feel awful. I try to manage with over the counter pain killers mainly. I think I've read that magnesium glycinate can help with pain and possibly that it helps with mild depression????, have a read up about the various types of magnesium... Apart from that , I'm sure here will be able to help.
I completely sympathise. I am always sweating after minor exertion. Can't decide if it's the menopause or the FM. Been on Duloxetine for ages and the dose has been at its highest and now lowest. I have very vivid dreams and remember bits. Feel very low sometimes. It's a vicious circle sadly...
I've been on Duloxotine for Fibro for a couple of years, I get the same problems as you mention, but I do think the Duloxotine helps a bit, I can't really say how, but when I forget to take it I do seem to get more pain, so I would give it a go. Re the temperature and restless legs, I can't help as I don't understand it, but do experience it, particularly the temperature extremes that don't always seem to reflect the outside temperature or whether or not I'm doing exercise. Good luck.
Hi, I've found Duloxetine has helped manage depression and anxiety. It is a toss up between fibro symptoms or side effects or a mix of both. I don't know what causes what but it saved me from spinning downwards a few times for sure. Amitriptyline helps with sleep I find as well and I was advised to take Duloxetine in the morning and Amitriptyline at night.
