Looking for some help in finding good shoes. I have plenty for summer (my crocs cleos and my Dr Martins Carolyns but I have struggled all winter as the pain in my feet just won't go away. I have seen a pair of Skechers Shape ups in a Mary Jane style on offer. Anyone tried these? Some good reviews online. I need shoes that I can wear for work that are smart and sensible. Any help will be gratefully received.

Hi Lisa, I feel your pain, literally. I would try the shape ups on before I bought them as some of these 'walking' shoes have moulded insoles which may not suit your feet. I wear sketchers almost exclusively as I know I will be comfortable.
Apart from that I tend to live in crocs or trainers, neither of which are really suitable for a formal workplace. Sorry I can't be of more help but if I remember the makes of any other shoes I have found helpful I will let you know. Linda
I can recommend Hotter - try an outlet store if you can or online as they can be much cheaper. I've got 2 pairs of their Shaker style shoes in turquoise and purple and a black patent leather pair (cant remember their name) for nights out - they're fab. x
Hi, I have purchased some Dr Keller boots. They are amazing. The problem I have though is that shoes or boots I wear one day that are pain free, hurt like hell another day. I have been known to go out in my slippers!
Hi. I don't know about shape ups but I used to have a pair of sketchers memory foam trainers. I wore them to death they were the most comfortable pair of trainers I have ever had.
Thank you all for your help. I went and tried the shape ups on again and ended up buying the mary janes and the trainer style ones. They are like walking on big pillows!! So far so good. Did a whole day of work in them yesterday and was not just as sore as normal. They seem to act like shock absorbers lol
