Hi meeeshell1

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I genuinely hope that you find the forum useful, informative and loads of fun! I have pasted you a link below to our mother site, FibroAction which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:

fibroaction.org

I genuinely look forward to bumping into you around the forum.

All my hopes and dreams for you

How are you, Julie and Linda. Have you settled in yet and what does Linda make of it all?

Hugs to you all and an extra special one for Linda.

Hi sue,

Yeah! I have been coming online a lot later since we moved as I have been so busy. Hopefully we will be getting about sorted soon and then I can come online a earlier and more often.

Poor Julie had a bad fall the other day and has bruised herself quite a lot but she is okay. Linda still not too good with her heart but she is still munching on her trifle everyday so she is quite happy thanks. I have been to see a neurologist again as my migraines are getting worse, they have prescribed Pregabalin for me.

How are things with you and yours?

Take care my friend

Hello meeeshell. Welcome. I see that Ken has already pointed you in the right direction. I would like to add that when it comes to filling in benefit forms always get help from an advisor. The CAB are good, also most councils have their own advisors.

Good luck.

Hugs sue xx

Good morning. I would just to say welcome. The others seem to have pointed you in the right direction as far as help with PIP is concerned. I haven't actually had to fill in one of the forms yet I have that joy in April of next year. The Benefit and Works site is also very good and I found the subscription was worth it for the help it gave when I was trying to help my husband appeal against an ESA decision and I know they also have good things on PIP. If you want to ask people individual questions on it just fire away as I am sure there is someone out there in the same position. Enjoy the site they are a friendly bunch.x

Hi, I would contact your local CAB for help with filling in the form, they have all the manuals with what each section requires. They will also give advise on what you need to send with the form. Also if like me you get tired after trying to concentrate on these things then take someone who knows you and your limitations with you.

Good luck

My advice is to do what I did and have the citizens advice bureau help you to fill in your forms, that way they can keep you right with how to word your answers to the many questions on the form that may seem straight forward but are actually more complex than you realise.

Hello and welcome meeshell, it's great to see the help that you have already been given. We are a friendly bunch and try to lighten things up with some humour at times, many of us agree that laughter or even smiling can release feel good endorphins which can be a real help if you are struggling.

I have an incling that there are some fun plans afoot for our lead up to Christmas, so do look out for that if you feel up to it.

We are very lucky to have some very good and well informed administrators and the main site as Ken pointed out to you, is full of lots of information and tips that make it a very good read.

Pull up a chair and join in as and when you feel like it, btw., Ginsing one of our eminent administrators normally has open house for early morning coffee, normally I think Monday - Friday, which is a very good place to go and meet and make friends with others :-)

Sending lots of positive healing vibes your way :-) :-)

Foggy x
