Went to Dr's on Friday sheet me straight to hospital to have xrays done on both knees they said get result in a week,my whole body is in so much pain my back feels like it bulging due to the discs and my neck causing me headaches just feel really down

I'm sorry to hear that Babsy_52, I also have osteo in my knees and a disc problem with my neck, I like to watch a good movie with a heat pad on my neck, I got an electric ne on amazon that actually hooks around your neck and shoulders which I wear either at the computer or watching tele, nothing a good musical (I'm taking GI Blues that kind of upbeat though stay away form Les Miserables I was choked up the whole away through the film and for about 2 hours afterwards), and of course a nice hot cuppa and a bit of dark choc. My other cheer me up is colouring in, I like flowers and get lost in the lovely colours.

Hi Babsy_52 I'm so sorry your in so much pain, it's not surprising you feel down my friend, pain niggles away at you & that's how it leaves you feeling. It's good your doctor got you in so quickly to have xrays, hopefully it won't take that long, sometimes they get them back quite quickly and your doctor would call you to make an appointment.

Have you got some good pain relief and keep warm. Heat pads are very good for back & neck pain. Or even better for someone to give you a little gentle back & neck massage. I hope you can get some relief very soon and pls keep us informed on how it goes.

Oh they are brilliant, I couldn't live without it. I've got though 2 now over the years I got one in lidl & it wasn't that expensive & the other one I have a feeling I got from Argos x

I am so sorry you are feeling so down. I am pretty sure that I would be feeling the same way too.

Have you been prescribed anything to help you with the pain you are in?

I hope that you are able to get hold of the heat pads that our Jan Janet28 has mentioned.

I got my result of my xray and surprise surprise not good news my left knee ok the one that is false but my right knee now got arthritis and they also found a peice of bone floating around the knee to but the doctor said they not going to do anything about it nice a
