Anyone else asthmatic as well as Fibro
Yes I have but strangely since they put me on Pregablin it has been much improve (the only thing that has improved) and have been able to do without my brown inhaler and only occasionally have to take my blue. Doctor says it is because the Pregablin helps to stop nerve pain and the inside of the lungs have nerve endings which are now less sensitive to triggers.x
co incidentally i have been out with dog came back wheezy did peak flow ( i am keeping a diary for gp ) it was 220 as you say you can taste the smoke in the air
glad to hear you are fine
Hi
I also suffer from Asthma but it's not too bad so long as I use my inhaler twice daily. The Fibro came first.
Hope that helps?
Warm blessings
Lu xx

hope your migraine improves
Thanks should end roday or tomoro,
I am a life long asthmatic, I cant take some of the fibromyalgia medication as it impacts on my breathing, its been under control for years until the GP tried me on a new drug and I had an asthma attack within an hour, my chest had been bad ever since it just won't settle.
out of interest which medication is that ( I have just started Pulmicort with Symbicort ) they have made my chest worse (or is it the fireworks ) just took emergency steroids to pick peak flow up from 220
Hi dillm2
I am asthmatic and I also suffer from COPD (Coronary Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder) and I am prescribed Ventolin inhalers, Atrevent inhalers, Symbicort inhalers and I also have 10mg of Prednisolone steroid daily. I have a nebuliser on my bedside cabinet which I use if I feel particularly unwell at night.
This time of year is not good for me, as the bonfire season and the cold air play havoc with my chest.
Take care
Ken
