Hello lizzrus, All of the symptoms that you have described could be fibro but may not be. Here is the link to our mother site where you will find lots of information on symptoms, treatments, benefits ect. Please take a look and then come back to us and we will do our best to help in any way that we can. fibroaction.org

Hi welcome to the site. Yes these could all be firbo related but could also have other causes. Pain around the rib area can be caused by something called costochondritis. I have back and hip pains but that is actually caused by osteo arthritis and muscle tightness along the spine which I presume is the fibro part as alot of us have quite a few other ailments as well as the fibro. It is a strange illness as it can mimic so many other ones so I think that is why it can be so difficult to get a diagnosis. As Mayrose says our mother site has some marvellous information and I am sure forum members will try and answer you if you have any queries.x

Hi Lizzruss

I sincerely hope that you are feeling well today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I genuinely hope that you find the forum useful, informative and loads of fun!

As the others have said, everything you have described could be Fibro, but with any new pain or persistent / increasing severity of pain, it is always best to discuss this with your GP or medical Specialist just to get others things ruled out.

All my hopes and dreams for you
