Morning Pam

So sorry you are having such a bad time at the moment, and I am sure you will get better but perhaps you need some help now. Do you get DLA/PIP as I think part of that money is to pay for things like scooters.

Morning Pam,

You sound really up set at the moment , having a tough time- I am sorry it is horrid when you feel isolated. You do sound as if you would benefit from a scooter you can still get better but have one while you are not so good, Then you could at least get to the local shops and back.

I know there are expensive but I believe you should chat with my friend Zeb73. I think that is her handle she had help getting one and knows the ins and outs.

Good luck and chin up

to get rid of the gallstones try eating asparagus with some turmeric both of these are great at dissolving stones aloe vera contains citrate which reduces stones, Also try and source pure or raw honey this is honey that has had no heat used in the making of it if honey is fantastic for the gall and pancreas as well as a million other things in the body a couple of brands that are good are Jarrah honey which is the best honey in the world if you can't source that or raw honey then buy a manuka honey with a really high activity number the higher the better the lower ones are not anywhere near as potent.

Stinging nettles are helpful for bladder and urinary tract function in both sexes. The tea acts as a natural diuretic, increases urination and helps break down kidney stones. Nettles acts as a pelvic decongestant and reduces an enlarged prostate.

nettles also help get rid of arthritis because of the high boric acid content in fact stinging nettles are one of the best foods for us as they have so many goodies in they are classified as a super food.

naturalnews.com/036080_stin...

theres a lot more scientific stuff on nettles but you need to eat them fresh and not dried out as they lose 90% of their potency when dried.

this is a herb that is nicknamed stone breaker rain-tree.com/chanca.htm#.V...

cut out meat for a while if this is possible as the cholesterol contributes to stones im not sure if you can access my other posts but theres a load more info on them that will help you let me know if you have got any questions as there is so much that the body needs to be able to fix itself sometimes that it can't all be incorporated in a few lines.

I have one very large gallstone and only found out I had it while having a scan for something else. Sometimes though I think we need to listen to our bodies telling us what they need or don't need. For years now I've been going off eating meat. I really don't like the thought of it. Don't think that is a coincidence as I didn't know about the gallstone.

Hi there, I don't eat meat much but why can't we eat meat?.I was told I have gallstone because I"be eaten to much oil, butter .yeah I have in cakes and in cooking. I don't"t know what the doctors are going to do about it as I just been told this month waiting for blood test to come back. I also have IBS now a gallstone how does your stomach feel like? Is it hard on one side, bloating? What treatment are you having? I don't know what worse IBS or gallstone because maybe it the same pain.I've been told to cut down oily things.what about you? How are you feeling ? Pam

in reply topamela62

Meat contains cholesterol and triglycerides our body naturally produces these so putting extra into our bodies becomes detrimental because the body cannot absorb most of the cholesterol from food and unless you have a good balance of bacteria in your stomach you cannot digest the triglycerides this then causes extra problems in the body, stones are made up of cholesterol and toxins,

also meat has a lot of added hormones, when you cook meat or anything else you denature the amino acids this happens between 57-75 degrees Celsius therefore you are getting extremely little nutrition from your cooked food cooked food is known as dead food, cooking also produces carcinogenic elements and various other nasties.

humans are the only species on this planet that heats its food humans are the only species not to live to its full life span at least 120 years research the hayflick limit this is where our telomeres divide.

Thank you for your advice, I have IBS .I will go out and buy nettle tea.I don't know ,how I can get aloe very, how to cook it and with what. To eat with it.I've seen it as a drink.asparagus what would I eat than with? I eat a lot of curry's.so I use turmeric a lot..I eat veg and fruit.Thank You for your help .I would need a lot of help because I don't know about health foods what is good for me etc

in reply topamela62

try and get someone to pick you some fresh nettles have a look around the net to find the best way of eating them one thing to note about nettles If you're harvesting for food or tea, make sure to harvest below knee height. Once they're taller, there's a compound that changes in the nettles that's really hard on the kidneys

richsoil.com/nettles.jsp

you need to eat the asparagus raw combine with turmeric and black pepper as this increases the absorption of the curcumin maybe get a blender and mix all these up with the nettles.

maybe a few of you on here could get together and try various things absorption is key and various things counteract or enhance finding out which is the best way will help you all start up a thread on here and see where it leads to, raw food will heal the majority of you on here whatever illness you have pharmaceutical companies have only been around for a maximum of 100 years, humans have been here for millennia if we needed pharma companies that much then humans wouldn't have survived would we.

whenever you are going to eat always eat some fruit before your meal this enables the enzymes that are in the fruit to prepare your stomach to properly digest the vitamins and minerals papaya is very good for this.

A vitamin is an organic food substance which occurs naturally only in living organisms not pills.

Aloe Vera barbadensis is the most medicinally active of the species google.com.au/search?q=Aloe...

blankees.com/house/plants/a...

if you can get the aloe plant always use only the gel as it has an outer layer that is fairly toxic and used as a laxative

Hi Pamela. So sorry to hear you are so low but I can understand why. This Bedroom tax is causing such alot of problems for people who have bigger homes when the family leaves. I don't know how old you are but I am presuming 50+ as Age UK now deals with people from that age. As far as aids, etc click on the Age UK website, the Home and Care Section and Adapting Your Home, Repairs and Improvements. That section gives alot of info about mobility aids, etc and ways to make life easier and also some possible sources of funding. If this can't help Disability UK and other charities like that are a wonderful source of infor and I am sure Zeb or one of the Administrators have other links. When I was an advisor there was a big book we had (sorry I can't remember the title) which gave a whole list of charities who might provide funding e.g. if you worked as a school dinner lady there is a fund. I was always surprised how many occupations it covered. If your husband or any of your sons were or are in the forces SSAFA could help.

Let us know how you are and what you decide.x Soft hugsx

I know the problem exactly since I'm the same and can't propel a manual wheelchair myself. My GP referred me for an NHS electric chair, but the waiting list is THREE YEARS! I've actually applied to a charity for help with the cost and you might think about doing the same?

However, didn't I hear that there had been a successful legal challenge to the bedroom tax, at least in relation to disabled people? Not sure if it will help you as you have four bedrooms, but in any case would life not be much easier for you in a smaller more accessible house? I do understand that its a huge upheaval ....

Hello artyrose.I just started receiveing pip low rate so I am now classed as disabled. What to do next I don't know? Not to sure about bedroom tax and one way it would be OK to move to a smaller place.but that the problem.I have to much stuff and this house is my family house.where I like living.as its safe. There are lots of thing s to think about like could I get a disabled bunalow or would a one bedroom flat on ground level.Have you had any help in is matter? My Doctor refef me for a electric chair but there is only 120 chairs for my area..Do you find it easy going out?I was so happy when I got my wheelchair,I dreamed I could go out to do my shopping.then I realise ?where do I put my shopping.have a great day .pam

Hello Pamela62,

You mention you may be becoming low as you are unable to go out but are wondering how to purchase a scooter due to low income. I used google and this website came up where you can apply for help to buy one through The Mobility Trust;

mobilitytrust.org.uk/

I am sorry you may be forced to move due to the cost of Bedroom Tax and understand the pressures this puts on you.

In regards your Arthritis pain I wondered if you have tried this cream?

arthritisresearchuk.org/art...

Obviously you would need to ask your GP if s/he feels it is appropriate to be prescribed as it does say Osteoarthritis or have you asked about any addition to your medications which may help.

**Please see my reply below to Saluki25 for more information**

I wish you all the best

Emma :)

Hi Pam sorry to hear you are so low, we all wish you well and as usual there is some very useful advice on here. I have just looked up the Capsaicin cream which I will trial, anything is worth a go. It's in Amazon but it may be that your GP can prescribe it.

Gentle hugs

Hello Saluki25,

I found it helped my Fibro very much indeed. For your information tho' it is a very hot cream and some people with sensitivities especially if sensitive to medication should probably best avoid it.

If you are going to try it, please do consider getting it prescribed due to the problems of authenticity of products online. I would also consider using sparingly on one area and give it 24 hours before using anymore. Please read the leaflet for further instructions

The cream is made from the Capsicum pepper hence so hot so please do be careful with it, especially near your eyes as does sting like police spray !

Best Wishes

Emma :)
