Morning all. I had my flu jab the other week and the site of the injection is really sore. I know it's not a reaction to the vaccine, I just wondered if the jab into the muscle has caused my fibromyalga to flare up at the site?
Have a good day everyone

I am so sorry to read that you have had such a reaction to the flu jab, and I genuinely hope that your aching arm feels better soon. I must admit that I have never had a reaction to this or to my pneumonia jab either.
Hi I had my flu jab Friday and my arm is so sore, red and very hot this time, never had this reaction before! Had flu jabs for years now, I would rather have a sore arm for a few week than a case of flu. So I will still carry on having the jab every year as the pros out way the cons.
I would say it is the flu jab that is flairing it up. Are you OK with eggs as the vaccine is incubated in eggs? These last few years my arm is sore/red and painful for up to 10 days. I have mine Weds
I always have a sore arm at the injection site...and it IS sore, for a few days. But I wouldn't go without it. My daughter had swine flu 2 years ago and I wasn't affected at all!!! XX
