UK site ?
Hello, yes this is a UK site but much of the information is the same across the world.
You may find the same medications under a different name.
If you Google the generic name, it will bring up the commercial names.
Obviously too the welfare and benefit systems are different but we welcome any and all members from across the world.
Hope this helps.
Thank you yes its great to find out about everyone just making sure where I was lol as on a worldwide one also xx
Hi Mollie24 I agree with bluebell99 it might be worth googling for information on generic names of medication the information is pretty much the same around the world.
Our mother site is probably good to look at:
Good luck my friend.
Hi Mollie24
Although FMA UK is a UK site, many of the forum are based overseas i.e. the MS forum is based in the US. I agree completely that many of the drugs, albeit the same medications, do have differing names to the UK versions.
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Americans go by the trade names of their medications, but here in Britain we use the Generic names. It can get confusing to those not familiar with various types of medication.
