Low temp - numb face

Hi all

Not sure if these 2 things are connected or even got anything to do with fibro. But took my temp this morn 3 different times n it was 34.3c - 34.4c iv never had a temp this low before, anyone know what it means?

Also all day iv been having a numb, tingly, pins n needles all over my face, does anyone know what this is from?

See your GP, we do all get very odd sensations and some have fluctuations in temperature, I go by the general rule if it's new to you get seen asap.Best wishes Lou x

If I were you, I would get your thyroid and your vitamin B12 tested. Low basal body temperature is an indicator for underactive thyroid and numbness is a symptom of low vitamin B12.

I am so sorry to read that you are experiencing this, and I would definitely go and discuss this with your GP just to rule other things out. It is more than likely to be something simple such as your blood pressure being low because you had just got up? But it is always best to play safe?

Hi yes I will see my doc when I get home as I'm away this week. I know it wasn't blood pressure as I hadn't got up I was still lying down n I have a blood pressure monitor and that was fine.

I take my temp every morning as I'm ttc and have done for 2 years so this Is definitely something different as had never gone that low at all.

Thanks Ansteynomad I have actually just had my bloods done last wk and I think they tested me for just about everything, will be interesting to see what my thyroid n B12 is like, I'm waiting for the results so will see what they say.
