So sorry to hear you in so much pain. I take a number of meds but none work with this type of pain.

Suggest telephone your doctor for advice as they will understand which meds you can take.

I find standing in shower gradually changing the temp from very warm to cool can calm the nerves a little at times like these, even only for half-hour

Wishing you less pain as day progresses.

Take care PLMI x

My family doc put me on Elavil (amitriptyline) for the fibro and to help with my sleeping. I started on 25mg and then moved up to 50mg and it does seem to help me get to sleep, although for some reason I have to take it like 4 hours before bedtime for it to work.

I'm also on cpap for a mild sleep apnea, although my wife says I still have muscle spasms in my sleep that don't wake me up. She says it's like I'm having a seizure :/

You could try asking your GP for something like Baclofen.

No medication advice but an electric heat pad has worked wonders for my muscle pain in a way that my meds just can't. The best £30 ever spent! Hope you find some relief soon.
