Sorry I missed your arrival yesterday welcome to the friendly fibro forum I am pleased that you have found us and are now not alone but amongst many of us friendly fellow fibromites

Have you checked out our Mothersite yet? fibroaction.org as I have explained to Toby there is a wealth of info regarding Fibro there which could be useful to you including varying printable and downloadable factsheets in the 'About Fibro' and 'More About Fibro' sections of the site.

Please join in whether you have Q, need a rant.............. a giggle, or even just for a reassuring hug. I like to endorse laughter as do many others here and we do have a comedy corner as it's good to distract ourselves from the pain. It's also good to learn from each other's real-life experiences

Finally getting a diagnosis is quite overwhelming isn't it? I remember when I finally got mine and I got home and sat in a bubble for days because I couldn't believe I had finally got it Everything begun to make sense and I could start to understand what was happening.

You are definitely not alone here and if you have any questions someone is always just around the corner. Welcome to our groupI hope everyone has said hi - I am Gins I have been a member for 3 years. he site has provided me with links to people who are in the same place as myself. We share funny things that happen in our dailey lives. We swap information on medication and varying processes we have lived through in order to deal with our new Fibro lead lives. This site has helped me and I hope we can offer you support in the coming months.
