this runs out in sept 2014, a while back I filled out the forms for pip as I will be moving over as we all will at some stage, I got a text on my mob saying they had got my forms and it could take upto 26 weeks before I hear anything, as yet I havnt heard a thing .Today I went to see my doctor as I do every 6 weeks for bloods etc and asked him if he had heard from pip , the reply was no not heard a thing and he went on to say that's a good thing .What I want to know is, as anyone who was on dla just been moved across to pip without them contacting your gp ? or having to go and see them ? I did not long ago have a doctor come to my home to see me about my dla and I gave her a copy of the letter my gp sent to the esa the moment she read the letter she stood up and said I don't need to be here and with that she went, I then had a letter to say I was on the correct rates for my dla . As I still have not heard anything if sept comes will they stop my dla until they have sorted my pip out ? many thanks and warm hugs to all xx
Hi all not sure if anyone knows the a... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Hi all not sure if anyone knows the answers or can give me any info on my post but here goes I am on dla high mobility and low care
They should have it sorted by then - if I were you I would contact them directly and ask for update on your case! It sounds like you have filled in form yourself - I would never do that go to CAB who know how to complete forms and the terminology that will ensure you meet the points required x department have deadlines ask them what it is x
Hi jane59
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I do believe that other members have posted in the past saying that they were paid their DLA until such a time as their PIP was finalised. So if this is the case then you should not have anything to worry about and no breaks in your payments?
I want to wish you all the best of luck with your claim and I sincerely hope that you get the benefit that you desire and deserve.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken x
Hi me again! Sorry! There is a post from a few days ago that you may have not seen whereby a member was awarded their PIP, it has a lengthy response to it so I thought you may like to read it?
