Hi guys when I saw this on twitter I just had to share it with you.

Hi zeb
Oh god bless you.
I really needed to see some words of indpiration.crazy work week and just not so good the last week.
The cough is irritating and the work load I have is crazy.
I believe I am a strong person however the job is becoming overwhelming and I'm finding I'm getting a little more absent minded than norm and these sweats are not my best friend.
I'd really like to just put my feet up and relax but I'm going to be honest I don't like to admit my difficulties to my husband for he believes that we illness can't be that bad.
I understand because I look totally fine and I push myself a lot just so he doesn't worry or think I'm lazy.I guess this is a huge challenge to us both but I'm tired.
I am so glad you shared with me this was just what I needed.
Thank you Zeb ..Take care of you.
Sweetdreams1234.
Many fluffie hugs for you
With time it hapens to us all when we need to admit things aren't the same and what we can manage now is very different to before.
It annoys me too that we don't look ill as people think I'm a liar but these words above are fantastic aren't they? and inspired me too.
I'm sure your hubby would be very understanding if you explained how doing the tasks really affect you. My hubby took a while to realise how bad things were for me but now he's an angel................ when he wants to be, of course! I do pity him at times but if I could do these things for myself then I would

Thanks Zeb
You're so right!!!Day by day I guess.
He really is an amazing husband. I guess part of me d don't want to admit either. I guess he keeps me going.Hugs to you too.
Gentle of course.
I'll keep posting with updates about rheumy appt.
Yes please do xx
Great thoughts - I once watch a TV programme about all the problems you have if you don't have pain. Pain is there to protect us and after watching that programme it did not seem so bad. For example lack of pain is why leprosy people lose their limbs. there were other conditions.
I like this one it sums it all up nicely xx thank you x
I really like this too - I woke really early and could not get back to sleep - bit miffed as I'm not at work today! but now I'm thinking it's more time to spend in the garden, bit of tidying up/cutting grass but a bit of time on the sun lounger with a good book, yay. xx
Sounds good I've been up since silly o'clock
Hope to get some shut eye this morning though!
Enjoy your day it's lovely outside xx
That message I'm sure was sent from above for me to read today. I'm feeling the lowest I've felt in years thank you so much for for posting
Hi Zeb,
I really needed to read this today. I am going through a particularly bad time at the moment . Sometimes we need to be reminded just how strong we are as we cope with Fibro day to day. However hard other people try to understand ( or don't try!!) we need each other to truly understand just how extraordinary we really are.
Warm, gentle hugs to everyone
Cathy xx
Great encouragement. Thanks.
That's nice
I like the middle bit best.
It's ok to take a break, it doesn't mean you quit. You're gathering resources to come out fighting again.
So many sufferers on these sites feel it's giving in to have a break - I call it a tactical withdrawal, not a retreat.
This was worth popping into...
its been a while since i logged i hope your feeling ok...
Sunshine hugs
viv xx
Thank you Sian, that is one to keep, sending you a big soft hug of thanks.
Wonderful sentiments. Tried to think like that today as I battled the bathroom tiles and then decided for once to be gentle on myself and have the afternoon lazing in the garden and now I feel refreshed and ready to ride into the next battle. Tks for posting itx

some quotes I read and really liked: "Those who say it can't be done.. Shouldn't get in my way while I'm doing it." "The very first part in healing is shattering the silence." "Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some day's you're the statue." "A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be the one sitting next to you saying, "That was bloody awesome" Hope you liked them, there are so many on "Pintrest" I think that's how it's spelt, just google it. There is so much on that site.
Merry Christmas everyone, it's the one day in the year that everyone is just like us, sleeping most of the day but for different reasons, so no one notices you.
Thankyou SC3160
I love the pigeon/statue analogy and shall remember it for future reference
All the best to you too and sending healing fleecy fluffies for support and comfort during the festivities
