Headaches does anyone else suffer from headache s when the sun is shinning ? Or is it just me !
Hi there sorry to hear you so unsure of things . I don't know if that is directly connected to the fibro but I do know that fibro can hyphenate temperature so one could be a little more sensitive to the cold for example. So it might be your sensitive to the sun maybe I get sensitive to the light sometimes its like its to bright and I have to squint a lot and then avoid the light by closing the curtains even. So sorry if it doesn't confirm what you ask but hopefully give you abetter idea of how fibro can affect us. If your sensitivity to light is to often then it might be wise to ask your doctor. fibro friend.
I do I am afraid, I have vitiligo so would be sensitive to the sun anyway if so I coup say it was fibro related. I also gave dry corneas which again cause sensitivity to light which I think is attributed to fibro, and can cause me to have headaches. If this is a new symptom it may be wise to see your gp. Join me in floppy hats and sunglasses, I am trying for a fifties look sorry I can't be of more help
You have both helped as I know I have fibro ,sjorgrens ,raynaulds , chronic fatigue and he told me I have connective tissue I tend to question things a bit more as far as my body is concerned as the rummie ask me for my symptoms ,and I always seem a bit vague as I always been just this is how it is, if I am honest I am not sure if he means by conective tissue as a blanket diagnoses for the fibro etc I don't mean to be dull ,but kind of just except things ,I have had lupus anti body's in my bloods but he is insistent that I don't have it . Sorry if I am rambling really tired today had this headache ,since early morning ,and normally on a Sunday I don't see anyone but today I have had one visitor after another which is lovely, but I am exhausted my poor friends, I moan if they don't come and see me on here then i moan if they do come talk about contrary. I think I am going to try and have a nap x
Hope you are feeling a little better later. I know what you mean about visitors, its lovely to see them and lovely to see them leave take care
Hi Shadows-walker
I am so sorry to read that you are suffering from headaches, and you are not alone in this. I have terrible headaches when I go out in the sun. I have always found Co-Codamol for the headache and Metocloperamide for any nausea helps me a great deal.
I want to wish you all the best of luck with finding some resolution and relief to your headaches.

I find when it is hot and humid I am very liable to headaches. My poor husband has had to retire to bed again with a migraine as he has been trying to help me in my beloved garden and it has been a very warm sunny day where we are. He often ends up with a migraine when it is hot and sunny so you are definately not alone.
I have had a headache for the past two days and woke up with it again this morning, really don't want to go to work but must. I have taken ibuprofen but dosnt do much it's in the middle of my eyes, I would rather just go back to bed today x
Hi I am so sorry ,your having to continue and struggle on like this ,I am off sick at the moment and rummie has told me I am not well enough for work although I am due to see him again on Wednesday , but like you I have again woke up with a headach 2 nd day in a row , the only reason I got out of bed is because a rather insistent ginger tom called Eddie would not stop purring and head butting me to get up and feed him , fare do's to the dogs they are as quite as mice almost for them today I swear they know I want quite at the moment . I hope you cope ok today Chris x
Me too. I am sensitive to sunlight. Not just in summer, but winter too. I find even when its cloudy, the clouds can be too bright white. Ugghh, bad headache right now but I think it was computer screen induced rather than sunlight xxx
