Think I know what you mean, does your arms and hands tingle as well? like I call it shaking inside as you feel your shaking but your limbs are actually still, You tell your doc and your told its anxiety, don't know for sure I say it could be connected to my fibro, which I have, If your on meds like amitryptoline or propanalol they can cause it. As you say it's weird and you just can't explain how it feels.

Hi, yes that's exactly how I feel. I have been a bit stressed for the last couple of days so that could be causing it. I have been on amiltriptalyne for a while now and not had any side effects.

Hi libbylou, I get this feeling myself. Are you on any inhalers? I am for asthma and I read somewhere that they think that the propellant used in them can cause a kind of tremor, and also sometimes a kind of fast heart rate I think.

Hi, I don't suffer from asthma. I do think it maybe because I have been feeling anxious the past couple of days. Thank you for your advice x

Hi there Libbylou :)

I'm sorry to hear about the tremors they can be quite scary can't they when you don't know what they are, I get them on and off and yes anxiety can play a large role in enhancing our symptoms. It may be a good idea to pop along and have a chat with your GP about it as they will be able to help you. Certain medications can cause this this to occur but it is probably best to speak to GP first as they will know as will your local pharmacist who would also be happy to discuus medications with you :)

Regarding the anxiety do you practise any relaxation techniques at all as they can help to reduce the symptoms of anxiety also a few years ago I actually completed an anxiety management program which was very very useful.

Here's a couple of links to Relaxation Posts from the Past that I put together, I thought maybe they'd be useful for you :)

This is Diaphragmatic breathing exercise which are very good for anxiety there are a few exercises there

This is guided imagery technique

I hope the exercises are useful for you and remember I'm not a medical professional just sharing with a fellow fibromite :)

Please let me know how you get on with them and at the docs and I hope the tremors and the anxiety become less problematic soon for you.

Hi Libbylou

I am so sorry to read that you also have this horrid illness and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to your pain. I understand what you mean about a tremor, I have this quite often. However, please remember that if you ever get new symptoms or any symptom gets worse it is always best to discuss the issue with your GP just to rule anything else out and to keep your GP up to date with how you are doing.

Welcome to the forum and I genuinely hope that you find it useful.
