hi elaine and avery warm welcome to you i have had fibro about 2 years and diagnosed last july it has totally turned my life around and i have got worse since last july i do hope that you find alot of help on here and you will def feel a part of a lovely group of people it is so nice to come on here and rant off as we all know how each other feel we are all in this together and unless you have fibro you really dont understand so on here we all know wat you are talking about

i am laying here in agony have had about 20 hours sleep in a fortnight so am washed out but pain all over my body had all my meds for day think i need someone to shoot me with a dart gun that may do the trick oh well i will let yi=ou get to sleep and lovely to chat to you and hopefully will chat again soon love to you and once again a very warm welcome diddle xxx o

Hi diddle thanx for your kind words I've just been reading. A lot of Questions on here I relate to a lot of them. I've been suffering for about 6 years altogether I used to get a few good days a week I'm luck if I get a few good days a month now I don't sleep too good either so having other people to chat to. I am fairly new as well, I hope you find this site as useful and supportive as I have..When friends and family, bless them, get fed up with us moaning you can have a good rant on here. Its great !!! xxx

Hi Elaine, i also found this site about a month ago, its amazin how we relate to one another and helping each other when we have bad days, i find that i am not as bad as others on here, i still work full time but its a job that i enjoy, there is some colourfull characters on here that gives you a good laugh ( watch out for that Diddle one she'll have you in stitches) . anne xx

Hi Elaine,

I am new to the group to. I have had FM for 16 years now but also have osteoarthritis, prolapsed discs(5), crumbling spine, nerve damage, IBS, undiagnoised blood disorder and chronic fatigue. At the moment I am waiting for an emergency MRI as i am in so much pain with my back, my coccyx is unbearable, I cannot sit on it. My morphine is still being increased - over last few weeks I have gone from 50mg twice daily to 125mg twice daily. Tramadol,paracetomol, celebrex as well.
