I had fibro for a while does any other fibro sufferer suffer with being actually sick if you do things that you do not normally
I do if I do too much, but some med's can also cause nausea.
i agree with Sandra some meds do make you feel a little ikkie when over tired. Drink extra water.
Ginger is good, try ginger ale or gingernut biscuits if you can face it. Tonic water (sorry, no gin) is something I find helpful. As people have said, some medications cause sickness and nausia. Why not discuss it with your GP? He may be able to help you. MY GP wants me to go out more and has set me a challange to find something to do. Not too much, just to find out and maybe try it. She's not seriously pushing me, she just said it, as she knows I'll go away and do nothing!
If I do too much, I get a headache and feel very sick, as well as joint pains and unable to stand the light. I have medication for the miagrain headache and nausia if I take them early in the headache, but I still feel ill. I also don't go out as much as I used to as it makes me tired just getting ready and pain especially in my neck, spoils things, plus, I confess the feelings of depression make me hide away.
Hi shasbat
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am only sick if I overdo things and get too much pain and / or migraines. I was wondering if this is what you mean?
Or were you referring to the stress and anxiety of doing things because you know that you cannot do them? I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices website pertaining to anxiety, and I hope that you find it useful:

I really think you should discuss the issue with your GP and ascertain whether you are sick because of pain and fatigue or because of anxiety and stress? Either way, your GP should be able to prescribe you some medication to ease the issue.
Take care
Ken
It's a bit of a chicken and egg situation... I think it's difficult sometimes to know if I'm feeling sick because of the pain - or if it is the treatment for the pain that makes me feel sick!!
I find I'm sick if I've had to glug a rather heavy dose of Oramorph (Morphine Sulphate), which seems to always make me feel (& often be) sick - this coupled with the fact I'm on constant Fentanyl, which is also an opioid is probably why it happens. Perhaps check any medication you are taking by reading the inside advice sheet and/or have a word with a pharmacist, they have the advantage of being widely available for instant advice re medication.
Wishing you well, CM xx
