A simple introduction to Inflammation Therapy:

Created by Prof. Trevor Marshall, The Marshall Protocol is a therapy for chronic inflammatory diseases. It is based on an explanation for how an infectious cascade of pathogens slow the immune response, allowing subsequent infections to proliferate, thereby causing the symptoms and markers of disease.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post this really useful informationx

This is very interesting from being a very athletic young man with a great stamina engine I was an excellent distance runner and played soccer in the midfield position which involves end to end constant running. Then my immune system deteriorated during my 30's.I am now 50 and have been type 1 diabetic & diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Painful flare-ups mainly to right ankle from very old injury.I get infections easily inc Flu even with flu jab.Run down and fatigue on day to day basis. However I do attempt to cycle for exercise to help control my diabetes and have started to use Magnesium and zinc supplements to help recovery. One month in and I have noticed an improvement.I have also tried to avoid all artificial sweeteners(poison) such as saccharin ect. usually put in low sugar diet drinks. I'm not cured but I'm determined to try anything to improve my health so will be looking into this Inflammation therapy...Peace and Love x

Thankyou for posting these useful references Angel and wish you wellness :)

Can I remind members to please speak to their GP's before trying anything new as it may interfere with treatment/medicines that you are taking.

Healing fluffies to you

Going from very active outdoors type was as much a mental leap into the dark as the physical challenge of keeping some mobility / pain balance.

Treating symptoms is one thing but the willpower required getting back up again after a flare is is quite another thing

as many answers are in the determined to improve my health mindset. As a Sunday league footballer the first three yards are in your head was a favourite mantra, believing that you can be first across the first three yards equates with light at the end of the tunnel getting where you want to be.

Hello Angel2011,

Thank You for your contribution to the community which may be helpful to some people with Fibromyalgia. I wanted to add some advice to ALL members about considering researching any therapies & treatments thoroughly around the results of effectiveness from research articles that may be available. Usually you should consider independent research rather than that done by the company selling the services, for obvious reasons that it could be biased. As you wouldn't want to spend time & money on something that may not be as beneficial as once thought, so I think in short please consider doing the homework first!

Best Wishes

Emma :)
