Awareness day is on the 12th May I believe. I'd like to do something to raise awareness. Can anyone think of some ideas? I've started creating a Justgiving page and thought it would be a fab way of not only raising money but making people around me understand the condition more.
Have any of you got any suggestions of what I could do? Maybe a sponsored walk around the park with my cat or something..

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Love the name!
Why not contact your local hospital and ask if they will allow you to have a stand in the main corridor? I am sure FibroAction will have loads of leaflets and information literature that you can take along and give out to people?
What is this 'well' you speak of? hehe Thank you. My friends and family all call me a little sloth, which is fine by me as they are so damn cutes!
I am lucky to work in a busy supermarket. I may write to head office and ask if I can maybe set up a stand by the exit. That would be even more helpful as then maybe my work colleague's would take note and be a little more understanding.
I think it may have a solution for you. Earlier in the week Mdaisy asked us all to use thunderclap to raise the awareness throughout various media outlets and of course on line. Here is the link to it if you feel like signing I'm sure that would be very much appreciated thunderclap.it/projects/981...
