What a revelation this as been , a group run by people with the same symptoms as ourselves , the people running it are ex participants on the programme , but trained to impart their knowledge to us , what really shocked me was the other people there , and some with the same conditions as ourselves and some far worse , but you are made to feel part of a team , what I learn may come in useful on this site , I will keep you updated if I learn anything new at the same time as keeping peoples confidentiality .

Hi,

it's a shame I don't have this in my area at the moment.

Hugs

Fantastic Jeff :) what a lovely positive post and am so glad you found it welcoming. These group things use to terrify me before I did the Pain Management course but it helped me tremendously.

I look forward to your updates :)

Hi Jeff1958

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I think that is fantastic and I am so delighted that you found it so useful.

I would be very interested in being kept up to date with how this is going and what we can learn form you.

Take care

Ken

I am currently attending a Fibromyalgia and Arthritis EPP Course. The final week is coming up next Wednesday.

It has been very interesting and informative. You get the opportunity to buy a book entitled "self-management of long term Health Conditions". This is an excellent book which can be used after the course for looking up details of what the course content was. Sorry due to severe fibro fog I am unable to remember much of what is said during the 2 hours! LOL.

One good thing that has come out of the course is that I am starting a "Seated Exercise Class" next week. Hopefully I MAY be able to report on this!!!!

Lots of healing hugs to you all. Xx
