We have survived rather tired and very battered but we are not flooded! I send love and comfort to all those fighting the element every day. Hug to all fighting Fibro . (((())))xxx
Excellent. I like a chuckle in the mornings
How's you today?
I also hope our friends are alright too I haven't looked outside yet but it won't be bad I don't think

Hello my lovely,
Glad you survived the elements. It was so windy here, it was frightening. How we kept our power I will never know. My cousins staircase on his block of flats was blown away and they had to be rescued by the Fire Brigade!
I've had a bad couple of days, very, very sore, and as stiff as a plank. I wonder if it's the weather? Feeling a little better today so about to venture out with the shiny one.
How are you doing? Xxx
Crikey, are your cousins ok? must have been quite scary that
It was loud/roaring here too and yes I hurt a lot but I've been busier than normal so just overdone it.
However, I do believe the changes in air pressure and atmosphere affect me too. OH's birthday so hoping it stays nice enough to get somewhere.......... wishful thinking!!! xxx
did it come?
Chair??? yes and it's very zippy even on first speed setting so must practice so can drive in straight line LOLOLOL good job we have the back lane for that!!!
OH's birthday so were going out but it depends now on weather so not going to get out on it just yet
I thought there would be no wind today - the are just starting again all be it more gentle
It's not pleasant and am thinking of you {{{gins}}} we're in for a pasting today well it began last night. Haven't checked local news yet for reports and pics but seen the UK ones off sky news and OMG just awful There's a picture of a truck mid falling over that someone took on the M62, and The Waves crashing the lighthouse of Land's End which is pretty wild
Sending storm proof fluffies gins, extra warming too
xxxsianxxx
Bless you for the storm proof fluffies we might need them xxgins
pleased that at least some of us have survived ok. must have a look around the house, cus it`s usually our roof tiles that go.
sue
same here, our roof has just been mended too
Morning all, well, there are trees down left right and centre, luckily in the fields around me not in my garden, but it was very scary, the noise the wind made was really spooky. Anyway, wet snow now, but it's nothing compared with what a lot of other people are hacking to cope with.
Foggy x
We've got a lot of trees down, and quite a few chimney stacks on the old terraced houses. We've been so fortunate though, I think because it's so hilly here the flooding doesn't affect us. If it snows however, we will be stuffed ! The shiny one was very happy about the number of branches lying around - probably the only creature who enjoyed the effects of the high winds xx
We live on top of the Rowley hills the highest point in the midlands and snow is what we dread.
The rain I don't mind so much, but the wind is ridiculous, I avoid going out when the wind is as bad as it was today. I worry that I will get blown over and be unable to get up, or get hurt, and the last thing I need is more pain. I am still getting used to my crutch, so I can't do that and battle the wind.
The flooding is pretty bad where we are in that it is all over the news, but we have missed it, but some people have put sandbags outside their door just in case.
I worry more about the windows breaking, they are very old and a bit wobbly.
