Hello Firstly are you on medication for your BP? if so and it is keeping your BP under control you should be fine. But if you are really worried you are better off having a word with your doctor

Hi jami and welcome to our site, I hope you find happiness and support here:-)

I agree with mayrose that really you might be reassured by what is said. You don't elaborate on your migraines, is it the pain from them which is leading you to wonder if it is a stroke that might happen ? Again, there are medications which may help your migraines as long as well as ones for blood pressure.

I think you might do well to look at our very useful website, fibroaction.org which has lots of information about nearly everything you might want to know a out fibromyalgia .

Sending positive vibes your way :-)

Foggy x

Hi jami800

I am so sorry to read that you are so anxious and stressed about the thought of having a stroke. If you are on blood pressure tablets your blood pressure should be under control and then this simply would not happen. I am sure that if you are so concerned that your GP will check it regularly.

I can honestly tell you that I have had migraines for the last thirty years and normally they occur because of an allergic reaction to something but fortunately not flu jabs. It can be anything form the onset of lactose, fructose allergies or a reaction to too much chocolate or even exercise! There are a myriad of different causes, so please do not worry about this either.

If I were you I would visit my GP and tell him exactly what you have told us so he can put your mind at ease and hopefully have the cause of your migraines investigated.

I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution to your issues and then you can avoid whatever it is that is causing your migraines.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
