Couldn't wait till tomorrow. Here's Jack at Haytor. He could not care where. it's something in a hole!
Do you know Dru Butterfield by any chance? I only ask as she's a lead in Dartmoor Pony Conservation.

Hi there, love the picture, that could really have been Gertie's rear end (minus the hairy bits )
Does the lady you mention have the place over the other side of the moor nearish to Chagford ? If so then I have met her a couple of times, but my fogginess is playing up and names go awol...... Sorry
Foggy x
Oh gawd
Do they never get stuck.
I would have to take a shovel out if whippet showed interest.
He had to be rescued from a bog in the New Forest! chased a scent from tussock to tussock, then realised he didn't know the way back. It was like one of those puzzles from Tombraider. Tussocks that supported him, could not support me! With this in mind we still crossed Foxtor Mire ion Dartmoor, even worse. The one Conan Doyle took the idea for Grimpen Mire in Hound of the Baskervilles In places my prod stick didn't find a bottom.
Did he have to winched off by helicopter?
Whippet gets lost in wheat fields, I have stopped letting him off the lead now he has got so old he can no longer jump above the corn to locate me. He is a bit short plank so would not find his way home and I refuse to camp out till he suffices.
Ned
Nah, I had to get the little s**. Took ages, but in a way kind of fun. I had a JRT who was very good at standing on 2 feet. You'd just see a head looking out of the corn/heather. He was still too short for anything else
