I tried putting some in a cup then the water- boiled first- gave it a stir - couldn't get rid of the grind. Searched old cupboard found filter poured it through right ready now first sip oh dear how horrid. Made a cup of tea!
Yes I am up have been since 5 this morning. It is true it gets darker before the dawn - I wonder why? Answers on a postcard please.
My friend comes to help me today, we are going to wash and polish things. I have to have help because of the back and we always try to have a giggle while we are at it.

Morning gins,yes I was awake at 5am also this morning as some darn foxes were making aweful noises outside my window plus I've got a dreaded cold that made me keep waking up.Hope you have fun today and get your tasks done! Morning gins, I'm very very late for coffee today ( I actually slept last night - phew). but am sending some to you via pigeon post, had to do a few adjustments as the jar seemed to render him incapable of take off, can't think why Anyway decanted some into a sturdy envelope which should be arriving with you sometime soon, hopefully you can give the good friend a cuppa as refreshment after all that cleaning
Am having some help myself later today to bring several loads of logs into the inglenook so that if it does get cold or snowy I don't have to struggle trying to get them in to keep warm. I knew there would be a sting in the tail of the winter that wasn't, all the snow drops are in for a shock !!

I rarely drink coffee in the house, as I prefer to stick to my rooibos tea, however, I went to the doctor this morning and decided to treat myself to a lovely costa skinny caramel latte on the way home. It was JUST what I needed. I find that a lovely coffee seems to make the world a brighter, better place, no matter the weather or the pain I'm in. It made me feel so much better, so I then bought one and took it to a friend of mine who was at work, drinking hot water. It made her day better and brighter too. I'm all for sharing the joy. Next time I'll see about sending one to you too.
Come on in. Just got home from work and brewed a pot of very stong coffee curtsy of shopping trip to Wittard's yesterday.
I am hopeful after a snuggle with whippet the caffeine content will kick me into action. You can cuddle black cat then I can show you whippet and selfs fav walk bring wellies.
Oooooooww nedd, the terriers will have great fun going walkies with the whippet, Poppie actually things she is one - it'll be interesting to see if she can keep up.
Foggy whippets do not usually bark, however expect to be greeted by much barking. Terriers will love rabbit holes. I hope they are well mannered around cats. Black cat rules here.
Fen badger I never iron. Well only for wedding and funerals. And what's polish. Oh yes the stuff you pay a fortune to have applied to nails.
