very funny Are you watching me 15 mins ago I was sitting here repairing our dogs rope toy the knot had come undone. Now she is trying very hard to destroy her new ball, when I asked what she was doing to it she covered it with her paws and did her very best to look innocent. Didn"t work ...Sue

final score .dog 2. tennis ball 0. She is now lying at the side of me gnawing on a bone. It"s putting my teeth on edge, wish she would go back to the ball.

Ahh the doglets always win the war on tennis balls methinks. My previous and muchly adored JR - Gertie (Gertude Russell ) used to dispatch them in pieces within ten minutes, unless you were hitting them with a tennis racket for her to fetch (couldn't do that now anyway) and then she would humour you for a while before killing the ball !!

Could I ask what breed your destroyer is ?

I had a JRT with a similar reputation. Had a disagreement with local pet shop. They said "this chew is indestructible" it took Jack 27 seconds to prove it wrong! Daddy's best boy
